The Federal Backpackers consists of dorm rooms and double rooms.

Over our three floors, there are toilet and shower blocks, Table Tennis Table, Pool Tables, TV Lounge with *FREE video hire, Beer Garden, Bistro, Vending Machines, E-mail and Internet Facilities. And don't forget the great views from our relaxing verandahs.

All rooms are cleaned on a regular basis and linen can be exchanged weekly at reception. Blanket hire is also available.

The Federal is mainly a working hostel but we still cater for overnight travellers, tourists, dive course accomodation and much more.

All of our new arrivals can take advantage of our 24 hour check-in system (must be arranged prior to arrival), which allows incoming workers/travellers and the like to make late bookings as we understand that you may not be able to get a bus or train to arrive during business hours. For use of tour 24 hour check-in system please contact our friendly staff at reception for any enquiries and to book your room.
