PURPLE AND BLUE SPIRAL CABOCHON C057

This cabochon is decorated with spiral/scroll design. It was painted first with a deep pink underglaze, then covered with a dark blue glaze that was sanded back to reveal the natural white of the clay, the dark pink and the blue in the indentations.

It has a flat back (unglazed), so would be suitable either for beading around or you could just add a simple bail and wear it as a stunning stand alone piece. It is pretty large, approximately 53mm x 36mm and 5mm thick.
