DEEP PURPLE OVAL DOMED CABOCHON C065

A rich looking cab with a spiral design. It was first decorated and fired with Aubergine underglaze, then coated with a dark blue underglaze which was sponged back only gently to reveal the design while retaining the depth of colour. Clear gloss glaze over.

It has a flat back (unglazed), so would be suitable either for beading around or you could just add a simple bail and wear it as a stunning stand alone piece. It is approximately 31mm x 24mm and 8mm thick.
