PURPLE SCROLL OVAL CABOCHON C162

This oval domed cabochon has been decorated with a pale purple underglaze then fired. It was next coated with a dark purple underglaze that was sanded back to emphasise the design and to reveal the pale purple and natural clay body. Coated with a clear crackle gloss glaze.

It has a flat back (unglazed), so would be suitable either for beading around or you could just add a simple bail and wear it as a stunning stand alone piece. It is approximately 35mm x 29mm and 10mm thick.
