JAPANESE CHINTZ TEARDROP CABOCHON C617

Very striking Japanese Origami paper inspired teardrop shaped cab. For this piece, the off white clay was shaped, dried and fired. Next it was given a coat of clear gloss glaze before a second firing. Finally the decal design was added and fused to the pendant in a third firing.

It has a flat back (unglazed), so would be suitable either for beading around or you could just add a simple bail and wear it as a stunning stand alone piece.

Measures approximately 33mm x 26mm and 12mm thick.
