FOUR CORNFLOWER CONNECTORS SB097

These connectors have an embossed flower design. The colour combo reminds me of old fashioned cornflowers. After their first firing they were decorated with a pink underglaze then refired. Next a coat of dark blue underglaze was added, this was sponged and sanded back to reveal the design and the natural clay beneath. Finally coated all over with a clear gloss glaze before the third firing. The loops are high fire Nichrome wire that is inserted into the clay while still wet.

Each connector bead is approx 25mm long (31mm from loop to loop) 20mm wide and 5mm thick.
