Bargara's beaches
are some of the last safe beaches you will find as you head north through
Queensland. Stinger free and often patrolled, our beaches
patch their way along the coastline, presenting a range from popular to secluded.
Kelly's
Beach (pictured above), is the most popular. |

Nielson's Beach is where
the Surf Club is situated, and where the naturally formed volcanic rock lines
draw the best waves in the area. Nielson
Beach is popular with parents and their children due to the nearby Caravan
Park, Skatebowl, Playgrounds and Parks with BBQ facilities. |

There
is also Kelly's beach lagoon, a natural inlet perfect for cooling off on summer
days and evenings, yet warm enough to bathe in on cooler days. The perfect place
to relax and get away from it all. |

Further
along the track, there are the beaches of Innes Park and Elliot Heads, the
latter being a huge and superb plateau of shallow surf and white sand. Popular
for Windsurfing, Kyaking, Kitesurfing and Waterskiing, the beauty and tranquility
of Elliot Heads is a must do activity for any visitor. |
